Yesterday was a beautiful Saturday so we decided to go up North about 60 miles to Mount Vernon to the Tulip Festival. Unfortunately, so did everyone else in the greater Seattle area. It took us over three hours to get there (1 1/2 of those in the last two miles) but it was worth it. There are fields and fields of all different colors of tulips. It really is pretty spectacular.
